The Ignite! Art Grant Jury awarded $10,000 in art grants to thirteen artists! We are excited to share a sneak peek on what you can expect to see this year.

Art Drive In - Portal of the Enigmatic Hares
Princess Meow Meow
Art Drive-In: * Portal of the Enigmatic Hares *, is a live, evolving pair of murals that invites participants to explore sensuous bunnies’ journey through a mysterious portal. It will feature two visionary murals being painted simultaneously. Drawing inspiration from classic drive-in theater, festival-goers can gather in a cozy space complete with cushions, ambient lighting, and music to watch the live painting show.
BeeBoo: A Tiny Memory Made Monumental

"BeeBoo: A Tiny Memory Made Monumental" ms a beloved 3.5" childhood toy into a 5'3" life-sized sculpture, blending nostalgia with whimsy. Covered in hundreds of shimmering resin orbs, BeeBoo sparkles in sunlight and reflects light at night, creating a magical and huggable beacon for children and the young at heart. This interactive piece celebrates the spirit of play, inviting connection and joy for all who encounter it.

A hurdy gurdy is a thousand year old crank and drone instrument from France. We built one and made it shoot fire.
Cosmic Torii

A torii is a traditional Japanese gate most commonly found at the entrance of or within a Shinto shrine, where it symbolically marks the transition from the mundane to the sacred. The Cosmic Torii marks a transition from our mundane into the spirit world, a gate to higher states of being.

God Creator

Approach the God Creator to help you create your own personal vision of a god. In the self-guided Build-a-God workshop, you will pick parts and powers to build your very own aspect of a god to help you get through life.

Hello there! Kamp Khaos here! Madness and misfits have landed upon this realm to bring you a sight beyond sanity. The Gladiator Arena! Come down and join the fun. Get your armor and helmet on. Choose your weapon. Then march on to glory as the Arena Champion! Or be one of the bloodthirsty MOB and decide who wins or loses when the gladiators refuse to be vanquished! First time ever featuring Mini Burner Battles! Littles and parents welcome to have some battle blasting fun!

Pump It
Squelch and Lisa
Come interact with lights, art, and your love of 90’s dance music. This work features LED light art and music powered by you, the participant. To activate the experience, use the hand-operated air pump. After enough pumps have been pumped, a special visual and auditory experience will activate. But be careful, if the Pump Spirits(™) are not appeased, then the jams may slowly fade from existence.

A series of larger than life, guardian spirits for gatherings. Figures are based on the major arcana of the tarot.
Wormhole Tunnel to The Pocket Dimension

You’re traveling a path when you notice a strange distortion in the air. Your eyes seem to slip over the details despite your best efforts to focus your gaze. Curious, you wander closer. It ripples and shimmers and a shape starts to take form - it is a small arched entryway. Boldly, you decide to crawl forward and as you enter the arch, you find yourself in a fantastical tunnel which surely had not been there only moments before. What will you find on the other side?
