Vote for Ignite! 2020 dates
Combustizans! We need your help! As you are likely aware, we have decided to postpone Ignite this year due to the Covid-19 pandemic. This was a difficult decision, but the right one to make. Now we need your help with another difficult decision, finalizing the date of the postponed event.
The IPA and Spirithaven have settled on a handful of possible dates for our postponed burn this year. Now we want YOUR input on the best date to choose. Check out the voting form here: https://bit.ly/DateVoteIgnite2020 and let us know what dates are best for you. Please only vote for dates that you will commit to if that date is selected. This form will stay open for votes until May 2nd at which time we’ll tally the votes and finalize the date!
The date options we are looking at are the weekends containing:
- October 17th
- October 31st
- November 7th
- November 14th
They each have pros and cons and no date is going to be perfect for everyone. We are hoping to select the date that works for the most people, ensures we have team leads and other critical attendees, and will most likely lead to a successful burn. Your input will help us make this decision.
Questions you may have:
Q- I already have a ticket, will it transfer?
A- YES! All existing tickets will be transferred to the new dates with no work on your end. If you can attend the new date once selected then you don’t need to take any additional actions.
Q- What if I want to buy a ticket to the new dates?
A- We will be reopening ticket sales (timing TBD) and anyone can buy a ticket up to our cap. Tickets will only be available as a replacement to tickets that may have been refunded in the meantime. Existing ticket holders will have their tickets transferred to the new date.
Q- I can’t make any of those dates, or the ultimately selected date, and I want a refund!
A- Totally understandable. You can get a refund by emailing Brown Paper Tickets at [email protected] (their preferred method) or calling them at 800-838-3006. Be sure and include your order confirmation number. All refunds must go through them and only them. Please be patient as they are also heavily impacted by this pandemic and working with reduced headcount and increased workloads.
Q- What if the pandemic crisis goes long?
A- We obviously cannot predict how this crisis will turn out. If things do not improve by the fall and we have to cancel our new postponed dates then we will definitely make refunds an option for everyone. We’ll stay in communication with all of you on how this is going.
Thank you for your support through this difficult time. We’re looking forward to seeing you at home in the fall!
